What is a life coach?
A life coach is part mentor, part taskmaster, part motivational consultant and part sounding board. It all depends on what it is you want to fix, change or clarify in your life. Life coaches focus on making changes for the future, rather than looking into the past to deal with issues or to understand human behaviour. We are trained to listen and observe, to elicit solutions and strategies from the client, rather than offering advice themselves.
Our coaching program offers helpful and powerful tools for people from all walks of life who wish to advance to the next level – just like an Olympic athlete who seeks coaching in order to excel at an optimum level. Our program is applicable to all of us who feel we are not performing up to our potential or feeling the personal satisfaction that we desire. Plus, Executive Winners coaches will offer you the occasion to stand back and to take a fresh look at your experiences and beliefs.
Do you need a life coach?
Coaching is also about setting up a trusting, confidential and supportive relationship that you direct. And working together week-to-week with your Life Coach will help you move forward faster, and go far further, than you might now imagine. It is also very convenient and affordable. Here is what you need to consider:
• Know your objectives for working with a coach. Do you want to rebalance your life? Get that job promotion? Improve a relationship?
• Interview three coaches before deciding on one. Ask about their experience, qualifications, skills and at least two references.
Is rapport important?
Yes. Choose someone you will be able to relate to very well. The relationship with your coach should be a model for all your other relationships: inspiring, supporting, challenging and productive.
Is Location a problem?
No, some of our coaches do offer on-site coaching, but it’s not normally necessary or efficient. Wherever you’re located in the world, you’ll be coached in the convenience of your home or office, allowing you to be in a comfortable place to really talk. It’s convenient, easy and time efficient, with absolutely no travel expense, parking hassles, or wasted travel time.
Is specific knowledge important?
A coach with experience in your personal or professional situation may understand you more quickly. But, much of your work with a coach will involve encouraging you to use and develop your personal skills and expanding your network so specific knowledge is not as important as you might think.
What is the cost of a coach?
Life coaches charge anywhere from $50 to a rumoured $10,000 an hour depending on their experience and reputation. But you should be able to hire one with solid experience for $150 an hour. For individuals coaching services start from as little as $500 per month. (And you can actually spread your coaching sessions out over a longer time frame to lower the monthly cost.)
For business owners, professionals, entrepreneurs, and executives who benefit from more frequent or longer calls – and specific business, management and leadership support and mentoring – services range from $750 to $1000 per month.
Can I be coached over the phone?
Most definitely, many of my clients will arrange a half hour weekly session over the phone. Its quick and precise and any information that he or she needs can be faxed or emailed to them momentarily.
Is it confidential?
All information you share is absolutely confidential between you and I. Your file with your coach is private and confidential. We do not discus your file with any other client.
Satisfaction Guarantee
I provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee for any individual coaching session. You should expect to get value from each call or session. If for any reason you do not feel you received value from a particular session, and you inform me within 48 hours, you may request and receive a full refund for that session.
Nobody has to sign any contracts or give any long-term commitments when they choose to work with Executive Winners. If you don’t see significant benefits immediately, you can quit with no questions asked.
How long should I be coached?
Please make a mental commitment, to yourself for at least 3 months of coaching. This way you can see the benefits.
