About

Karen partners to develop and deliver custom training and other solutions. She promotes effective work-based learning and better on-the-job performance. Her passion: doing people-centered research to solve challenges and realize opportunities that add value to everyone in the organization.

Karen has worked with all sectors and diverse populations. An educator by profession, Karen holds a Master’s degree in Performance Technology (Boise State University), and a Master’s degree in Workplace Learning (University of Calgary), along with certification from the International Personnel Management Association. She is a part-time faculty member in the School of Business at MacEwan University, and has been published in the International Journal of Management and Performance Improvement. Karen holds professional memberships with the International Society for Performance Improvement, the Canadian Society for Training and Development, the Canadian Evaluation Society, and International Personnel Management Association, and Toastmaster’s International.

Known for her engaging sessions that share best practices in a fun and practical way, Karen helps organizations unravel the mysteries behind workforce performance and productivity. Her learning and non-learning solutions leverage the greatest performance improvement at the least cost.
